Pyar Actually

Presented by Rifco Theatre Company

Rifco Studio presents a sparkling new comedy by Sukh Ojla.

Polly has a reliable husband, two bright children, a well-paid job at the council and a detached house with a double garage. She’s got it all. She may not be living the life she dreamed of back when she was a teenager, but who does?

Bali is a successful businessman. Loving his jet set lifestyle he swore he'd never return to the small town he grew up in. So why is he back? Is it too late for second chances? And is love, actually, all you need?

2018 Tour:

Press Reviews

"A funny, entertaining piece of theatre with real sadness at its core, Pyar Actually speaks to a desire for greater self-determination in a culture that often encourages us to settle for less."
What's On Live

"This play speaks clearly to the Asian communities from the reaction of the audience on Press Night, but it covers issues that anyone can relate to and does so in a comic and poignant way."
