MUSHY: Lyrically Speaking tells the story of a boy without a voice and the teacher who helped him to find it. An uplifting tale inspired by the true story of a Musharaf Asghar (Educating Yorkshire).

Mushy, a young man with a debilitating stammer, has always found himself on the outside desperate to find his voice and his place in the world. Suddenly he is thrust into the lime light of primetime television and the nation is watching as he begins to find the ability to speak through music.

Told through rap and lyrical narration, Rifco Theatre Company bring you the world premiere of this heart-warming new play written by Pravesh Kumar (Laila The Musical, The Deranged Marriage) and award-winning British Rapper Raxstar (Keep It Undercover).

Presented by Rifco Theatre Company
