After a smash-hit UK tour, Frankie Goes to Bollywood returns – bigger, bolder, and bursting with Bollywood glamour.
Ordinary suburban Frankie never dreamed of stardom until a chance encounter sweeps her from gritty, grey Huddersfield to the glittering fever-dream world of Bollywood.
As she climbs the shimmering staircase of fame, Frankie must decide what she is willing to risk for fortune, family and belonging.
With handsome heroes, delicious villains and billowing saris, this is a funny and fearless tale of being British in Bollywood.
Featuring explosive choreography, lavish costumes and pulsing songs, this feel-good musical bursts with ambition and heart - a joyful celebration of love, courage, self-discovery and pure theatrical sparkle.

Akshay Datta is an actor, singer, a passionate dreamer and the living embodiment of energy. An MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), he is a professionally trained actor, having trained in India with advanced study in New York and Los Angeles, alongside formal training in Indian Classical Music.
He has portrayed a wide range of leading and principal roles on stage and has also appeared on screen in prominent Bollywood films and acclaimed web series. His on-screen credits include Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan (Netflix), Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan (Amazon Prime), and Guilty Minds (Amazon Prime).
A committed musical theatre practitioner, Akshay’s theatre credits include the protagonist Salman Shaikh in The Greatest Show on Earth and the antagonist Gauhar Mirza in Umrao Jaan Ada: The Musical. His other stage work includes My Fair Lady, Over the Rainbow, A Scandal in Bohemia, and The Seussification of a Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Believing that talent is cheap, dedication is expensive, he strives to push himself and his craft to newer horizons constantly and, in the process, unearth a mine of riches to share with the world.


Meher Pavri is a Parsi-Canadian soprano and multidisciplinary performer whose work spans opera, theatre, musical theatre, film, and television. She recently toured internationally with Mahabharata (Why Not Theatre), performing as the Voice of Krishna in productions presented at the Barbican Centre in London, the Lincoln Center in New York, the Perth Festival in Australia, and leading theatres across Canada.
Her stage work includes Maria in West Side Story, Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, the title role in the opera Savitri, and performances in Bend It Like Beckham: The Musical, alongside numerous new Canadian works that reflect her commitment to collaborative and new storytelling.
Originally from London, Ontario, Meher is grateful for the opportunity to be working both at home and abroad and is thrilled to return to the UK with this production of Frankie Goes to Bollywood.

Ankur trained at the Oxford School of Drama.
Theatre credits include: Come Fall in Love (Manchester Opera House/Playful Productions), Mira Nair’s Monsoon Wedding Musical (Monsoon Indiawaale), Sepoys in the Great Hall (Hampton Court Palace/Rifco Theatre), Fanny and Alexander (The North Wall) and Snakes and Ladders (Southwark Playhouse). Ankur grew up in New Delhi, India and has spent more than 2 decades performing. He has played leading parts in Grease, West Side Story, Fame, Evita and Hair among many others. He has also had a long stint as a singer-songwriter, singing solo, in bands, and as a session singer.

Tash is thrilled to be performing in the upcoming production of Frankie Goes to Bollywood and would like to thank her family, friends and wonderful agents, Stevenson Withers, for their constant support.


Anna Maria has worked as a dancer in various aspects of the industry, from music videos to stage, and previously choreographed for Dubai EXPO 2020 and John Newman (Singer). Anna Maria first worked with Rifco as assistant choreographer and dance captain in Frankie Goes to Bollywood in 2024, and is thrilled to be working with Rifco again!


Harry is delighted to make his UK stage debut in Frankie Goes to Bollywood. Graduating in June 2025 from the Creative Academy with 1st Class Honours, he has already built an impressive body of international performance credits. His work includes dancing at the ABG Awards in India, appearing in Chinchilla’s music video OK As I Am, and performing at Dubai’s Sea World under the choreography of Josh Warmby and Kieran Donovan. Harry has also performed for Joshua Bass Pilmore’s choreography in Everybody Dance (The Skeleton Cast), at the opening of Berkeley Homes’ Horlicks Quarter, and in DK Productions’ pantomime Beauty & the Beast.
Passionate about combining technical excellence with expressive storytelling, Harry continues to develop his craft across stage and screen. Later this year, he will appear in the feature film Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani. He is proud to join Rifco Theatre Company.

Neelam is excited to make her UK theatrical debut in Frankie Goes to Bollywood! A recent graduate of LAMDA MA Musical Theatre after leaving behind a Wall Street career in New York, Neelam's credits include 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy Park) at 2025 Edinburgh Fringe, Island Song (Taylor), NY Theatre Festival’s Humanity Denied (Vera).


Dhruv Ravi is a Tamil American actor/director/producer.
His UK professional debut was with Rifco, for 2024’s production of Frankie Goes to Bollywood, and he’s thrilled to be back for round 2! He has just finished directing and producing a 4* international run of Strategic Love Play by Miriam Battye, which had a sold-out London run and was taken to the 22nd Teatro Dallas International Theatre Festival for its regional premiere.
Training: 2022 graduate from the BA (Hons) in Professional Acting at LAMDA.
