A mother and daughter wait in arrivals at an airport. The daughter holds up a sign that reads 'fiancé' and the mother wears a pink sari. They both wear excited expressions.

Rifco's first show focused on the trials and 'turbulence’ of international travel while introducing an array of sparkling characters in a variety of madcap scenarios.

Park the car illegally, check-in late, demand a first class seat, plead poverty for excess baggage, haggle in the duty free shop, talk throughout the in-flight movie, snore in stereo, smuggle pickles onboard and fight with the customs. 'Airport 2000 - Asians In Transit' is filled with a whole host of hilarious characters who live, work and travel through Heathrow airport.

Produced by Rifco and The Haymarket Theatre Leicester in 1999. Remounted by Rifco and Theatre Royal Stratford East in 2000.

Suitable for: Ages 12+
